The balance is due no later than three months prior to departure. If payment is not received by this date, we will contact you to discuss your booking, which may be treated as cancelled if payment remains outstanding.
Cancellations by You
All cancellations must be made in writing.
More than 3 months before departure:
At this stage, only the deposit will have been paid. The deposit will be refunded minus an administration fee.3 months or less before departure:
The balance payment is due 3 months prior to the departure date. Once the balance has been paid, all payments are non-refundable.
In the event that you cancel after paying the full tour price, you should make a claim through your travel insurance. We will provide a cancellation invoice to support your insurance claim.
Minimum Numbers
Our tours operate with a minimum number of participants. If this number is not reached, we may need to cancel the tour. Any such cancellation will be confirmed no later than 3 months prior to the departure date (before the balance payment is due), and all monies paid will be refunded in full.
Flights & ATOL Protection
Where flights are included, they are protected under our ATOL licence [11041], issued by the Civil Aviation Authority.
The tour price as set by Jona Tours includes return UK flights, calculated on the basis of a fixed airfare allowance. We will always make reasonable efforts to secure flights within this allowance; however, flight prices may vary due to factors outside our control. If the cost of flights exceeds the allowance, customers may be responsible for covering any additional difference.
Flight schedules and timings are subject to change by the airline.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is required at the time of booking. Proof of cover must be provided no later than two months prior to departure.
Your policy must include cover for cancellation, medical expenses, and repatriation.
Delayed or Lost Luggage
Jona Tours cannot accept responsibility for delayed, lost, or damaged baggage caused by airlines, airports, baggage handlers, ferry operators, or other third-party transport providers.
Any baggage claims must be pursued directly by the passenger with the relevant carrier and/or their travel insurer.
Passengers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering baggage delay, loss, and essential replacement items.
Jona Tours may assist passengers in communicating with airlines or service providers, but such assistance does not constitute acceptance of liability.
Changes by Us
We take great care in planning our itineraries; however, occasional adjustments may be necessary. This may be due to factors such as weather conditions, road access, etc.
Where this happens, alternative arrangements of a similar standard will always be provided.
In rare circumstances beyond our control, we may need to cancel a tour, in which case a full refund will be given.
Health & Participation
Our tours may involve walking and travel in natural environments. It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit to participate and to inform us of any relevant medical conditions at the time of booking.
Responsibility
We accept responsibility for the proper performance of the services included in your booking, in accordance with UK Package Travel Regulations.
